Stem Cell IV Therapy

Read GrandmaKristy13’s testimony below.

“I’m 62 yr old female. Diagnosed in 2005 with IC, but unknowingly had it for years prior. By 2014 I was getting DMSO installations every 30 days along with the Elmiron I had been on for many years. Life was hell, only tolerable with tramadol and lots of ibuprofen. In October of 2018, my loving husband forced me to get stem cell treatment by TransforMED Therapuetics. They harvested fat cells from my belly area, screened the stem cells out of that fat and put it back in by IV. It took about 3 hours. I stopped the Elmiron and DMSO 2 months later and haven’t taken a Tramadol in 6 months. Today I’m pain free and on NO MEDS! It’s nothing short of miracle! I even enjoy a glass of wine occasionally. My limited understanding of IC is it’s an autoimmune decease and the stem cells fix that DNA screw up going on. There is hope.”

I emailed TransforMED Therapuetics and asked if they were still doing stem cell therapy for people with Interstitial Cystitis.

The clinic responded to me the same day I sent the email to them.

Where do you get the stem cells?

We harvest your own adipose (fat tissue) from your stomach/belly, and send the cells to a tissue bank in Florida. The turn around time is then 6 weeks to get your cells back to have an IV.

Have you treated people with Interstitial Cystitis?

We have treated one patient with Interstitial Cystitis, about 5 or 6 with Crohns and countless other autoimmune diseases. All of these patients are doing remarkably well.

How many times would I need the IV stem cell therapy?

We recommend 2 doses of your stem cells thru an IV (approximately 20 million cells).

What is the cost for this therapy?

Cost breakdown for this stem cell therapy delivered thru an IV is approximately $8,000. Also, important to note is that this clinic is located in Wisconsin, USA so there will be added travel expenses back and forth.

I am still researching stems cells as a possible treatment for Interstitial Cystitis. Does anyone have any thoughts, comments or actual experience with stem cell therapy?

  1. I wish this was more cost efficient and available in a wider range of states. My IC has been in remission for over 7 years now; but my 84 year old aunt has been suffering for ages. There is no way she (or I) are able to afford the costs for the travel and the IV’s. I truly hope this is the beginning though so more people are able to receive relief.

    1. I am seriously considering stem cell therapy. I just hope this helps and is not some sort of scam or ineffective therapy. The use of stem cells to treat IC has not been thoroughly studied yet but I am so tired of hurting and dealing with these symptoms. I am going to continue to research stem cells and IC. I am so glad you are in remission, and I am sorry to hear about your aunt. This disease is really tough to deal with. Thank you so much for commenting!
