Encouraging Words for IC

chair

I found this excerpt below that sums up what people with Interstitial Cystitis (IC) deal with on a day-to-day basis.  I thought the message was well-written.  I posted it on my home page as a reminder to us and others.  These words also extend to anyone dealing with a chronic disease.

If you have words that motivate you as well, please let me know in the comments below.

Shoutout to the people who:

          • have invisible symptoms
          • are able to function when in extreme pain
          • hide their illness well
          • who do not seem sick
          • who have flareups when no one else sees
          • fight a daily battle others cannot see

You got this!

IC List

I found this excerpt on Reddit, but there was no author cited.  If you know who the author is please share the person’s name so I can give him or her credit.
