New Posts Coming Soon

Unfortunately, I have not been feeling well enough to write more posts for my blog lately. Well, that is going to change soon. I plan on posting more information about Interstitial Cystitis (IC) in the near future.

Please share my blog site with anyone who is dealing with this awful disease. I know how important it is to have a great support system.

Especially in these COVID times we are living in, having someone to share your struggles with makes all the difference in the world. Also, I encourage anyone who wants to share their journey or information they have learned about this chronic disease.

I have learned that I cannot count on a physician alone to help me. I am always doing research and trying to find anything that will help minimize the effects of IC. I feel confident that one day soon that this disease will be a thing of the past. Until you lose your good health, you realize how you took it for granted.

I want to thank everyone for coming to my blog and commenting or asking questions or just saying “hang in there; you are not alone.” We are near the holiday season. Please stay safe, and thanks again.

  1. Hope you’re feeling better really soon. As I think I told you, I’m having a big, bad episode at the moment. Taking so many damn drugs that I’m slightly spacey in the afternoons, however at least the pain goes. Off to see a urologist tomorrow so fingers crossed that something good will come of this. Sending you my very best wishes. Katie

      1. Thanks so much. Good visit with the urologist … it’s going to be a big of a process starting with Amitriptyline and various tests. Good to know I’m in safe hands and thank goodness for medical insurance. Thanks for the support. Very appreciated. Katie

    1. Cindy, thank you for your encouraging words. I have been dealing with this disease since 1995. It can be challenging at time but I keep hoping that one day this will be a thing of the past for me. I know that a lot of research is being done related to IC. Have a safe Thanksgiving!
