Your relationship with your urologist is important because there is no cure for Interstitial Cystitis, and you will be seeing this doctor for the duration of your life. Finding the right doctor is critical. Also, remember if your doctor is not providing you with the best care, move on and find another one. Try to find a doctor who is paying attention to the latest research relating to IC and keeping up with new and upcoming treatment options.
