YouTube Cooking Channel Countdown – Series 1, Post 2
Again this is the second post in my Distraction Series titled “YouTube Cooking Channel Countdown.” If you have not read Post 1 in this series, please click this link below and read first.
Distractions – Series 1, Post 1
Just a quick recap of this series – Anyone dealing with a chronic disease, IC or any other one, you need something to divert your attention away from the symptoms that you combat each day. And as I said in Post 1 of this series, I understand that to get your mind off of your chronic disease is no small feat. Most of the times it is impossible to do especially if you are in pain, but the difference in surviving and being defeated is knowing that you have to keep trying to push forward.
One of the distractions I use is watching YouTube. This series will contain a list of my favorite distractions. The first in the series is a list of my favorite cooking channels on YouTube. I did not want to include anyone who has a television show of any kind – just a YouTuber would qualify.
I announced the who made Number 5 in my last post – Nyonya Cooking. Time to move on to the next person on my list. Number 4 on the countdown list is…
- To Be Announced.
- To Be Announced.
- To Be Announced.
- Helen’s Recipes
- Nyonya Cooking
Helen Le is the star of the cooking channel called, “Helen’s Recipes.” She cooks authentic Vietnamese recipes. She was born and raised in Da Nang, Vietnam. In 2014, she returned to Vietnam after spending some time in living in Singapore and Germany. In her videos, she shares some information about her culture, family and the history of Vietnam. When the host gives tells you personal stories, you, as the viewer, become more invested.
She shares her love of Vietnamese cuisine with her younger sister, Summer. Helen has a very caring and gentle personality. She is very consistent posting a new recipe video once a week. You can tell she puts a lot of effort in her videos. She explains each step very well which hopefully gives you a successful attempt at recreating her recipes.
Her channel can be found using the following link: Helen’s Recipes
Take some time to check out her cooking videos. Again, if you have a favorite YouTube cooking personality, please share and comment below. I will be completing the countdown over the next few days.
Please click the black “follow” button on the sidebar to see how this list turns out or to be notified of all of my future posts.
I hope Helen’s Recipes cooking channel provides you with some much needed “escape” time. Please let me know who would be on your Top 5 list and what type of foods or cuisines you enjoy!
As always, thanks for supporting my blog.
